Researcher from the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research receives a grant of DKK 4.7 million
The Social Sciences (FSE) section under the Danish Council for Independent Research have granted DKK 4.7 million to a new research project led by Geoffrey Paul Hunt from the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research at the Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences.

On 1 June, professor Carsten René Jørgensen assumes his duties as head of the Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, and joining him as deputy head of department is professor Jan Tønnesvang. The current head of department Henrik Høgh-Olesen is returning to his position as professor at the department.

Treating children with anxiety disorders is not being given sufficient priority in Denmark. This is the reality, despite the fact that researchers have established that the treatment is effective and treatment options are in high demand. Major conference to create awareness about trauma in Denmark
